We survived our first full day in St. Louis. We consider it a productive day, having found a place to live! It's a quaint 2 bedroom/2 bath in a cute little apartment community in Manchester, MO-- in West St. Louis county. Click here for some pics of the place. We were so busy getting our utilities set up, and taking care of some banking that we didn't take a single picture today! Sad, really.

We did enjoy an awesome thunderstorm while conducting some of our bankin' at Starbucks. The sky got very dark, and we thought it might rain. Not less than 5 minutes later, those big green patio umbrellas and chairs were flying across the parking lot! The baristas ran outside to rescue them. It was hilarious to watch those green-aproned kids chase tables and chairs around the parking lot. At the same time, the lady in our coffee drinking corner asked if we heard any tornado warnings....!? The storm didn't last long, and we enjoyed some awesome thunder and lightning shows, nickel-sized hail and massive wind gusts. What a beautiful day!

Sooooooo glad u made it and had a safe trip! Your apartment looks wonderful and already perfectly set-up! Wow, do you ever have great taste in furnishings and style, lol. Hope your things get there soon so you can really set-up your home and get settled. Your pics are a lot of fun and the blog is great. I'm sending the address to Steph, just in case she doesn't have it yet.

Glad you're liking it so far! We experienced our first tornado stuff last summer...crazy, eh? It's fun moving to a new place!
